Heaven Touching Earth

Our Pastors, Chaplains and Leaders ministering in the Valley of Dry Bones

Today, one of our partner pastors and a military chaplain visited families of soldiers who are currently listed as Missing in Action. In their community alone, there are more than 200 such families. Together, they are working to visit each household, delivering food and hygiene supplies while offering prayer, encouragement, and the hope of Christ.

During one visit, they met a family carrying an especially heavy burden. One son is currently missing in action, and another has spent more than three years on the front lines of the war. The physical and emotional toll of combat has been significant. Like so many veterans across Ukraine, he is struggling with the lasting effects of war and carries wounds that cannot be seen.

The family shared openly about their grief, uncertainty, and exhaustion. The mother wept as she spoke about her missing son and the daily struggle of not knowing his fate. Yet even in the midst of heartbreak, there was an opportunity to pray together, listen to their story, and remind them that they are not alone.

Ministry in The Valley

While these realities are heartbreaking, this is exactly where our Kingdom Bridges Network churches are choosing to serve. Pastor Valentin, one of our key ministry partners in Ukraine, was with us during our Partners Event this past April. During his visit, he shared a powerful message from Ezekiel’s vision of the Valley of Dry Bones and described how he and many other Ukrainian pastors are ministering in what often feels like a modern-day valley of dry bones. It was one of the most impactful messages shared during our gathering, and I would strongly encourage you to take the time to listen to it. See the video below.

Our churches are walking into these valleys every day. They are serving as the hands and feet of Jesus, bringing practical help to hurting families while faithfully sharing the Good News of the Gospel. They are entering homes filled with grief, fear, and uncertainty and offering the only hope that can truly sustain people through such difficult days—the hope found in Jesus Christ.

Together with your support our network of churches in Ukraine, are seeing heaven touch earth—transforming lives and communities one heart at time through showing and sharing the Gospel of Jesus.

Across Ukraine, families are coming to church for the first time. Men and women who never considered faith are asking questions about God. People who have lost nearly everything are discovering that Christ is enough. Individuals are responding to the Gospel, placing their faith in Jesus, and following Him in baptism. In the midst of war, we are witnessing spiritual renewal. We are seeing light shine in the darkness and beauty emerge from ashes. The needs remain overwhelming. Every community where our Kingdom Bridges churches serve is filled with thousands of hurting, displaced, grieving, and war-weary people. The opportunities for ministry are immense. Yet our pastors continue to rise each day, stepping into difficult places with courage, compassion, and unwavering faith.

Thank you for praying. Thank you for giving. Thank you for standing with these churches as they serve on the front lines of both humanitarian and Gospel ministry.

Because of your partnership, families are receiving care, communities are finding hope, churches are being strengthened, and lives are being transformed by the power of Jesus Christ. Please continue to pray for Pastor Valentin, our network pastors, church leaders, chaplains, and volunteers. Pray that God would strengthen them, protect them, and use them to bring many more people to faith in Christ. Even in the midst of war, we believe God is at work, bringing beauty from ashes, renewal from brokenness, and hope to a nation in desperate need of His love.

Every Dollar Makes a Difference
Whether it’s $25 a month or $25,000, your support helps Ukrainian churches bring food, care, and the hope of Jesus to those suffering through war.
In the midst of darkness, the Church is rising. Lives are being transformed, people are coming to faith, and we are witnessing beauty from ashes.
Thank you for standing with them.

Thank you for helping us see heaven touch earth in Ukraine.

With gratitude and hope,
